In my town 400 people just lost their manufacturing jobs from what used to be our largest employer.
The company was purchased by a Chinese firm 3 years ago. Now that all the technology is gone and competition is eliminated, there is no need for local managers.

So by all means do what is best for you and vote your special interest because nothing much is really at stake here.
