SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!

If you are going to chop it and feed it or sell it,you'll be fine. If you are going to try and harvest it dry it will be very hard to make work. Can get up as few acres at a time but the baling window for PRIME hay is usually less than 3 hours a day and only comes once a cutting! If you are looking to feed your own cattle and I assume you still do this, forage peas offer one of the best feed options and fits a rotation.I thought I'd raise Alfy when I retired from dairy as I knew all about hay and gave it up over drying problems.
