Made more money buying $7.00 corn feeding Cattle than we are now with $3.00 corn
Not trying to 1 up you but I made more money on hogs at the time running corn thru them (which could of been sold for +$7) than now, feeding $3.something thru them.
On the backside yes, you/I made a lot of money feeding high priced corn to hogs.
On the frontside (when corn was going up much faster than livestock was (because livestock was being liquidated)) it was pretty painful buying $7 corn to feed the hogs who turned it into $4 corn.
did not anyone save any coin from $7/corn ?
