Seed is not that far out of line if you look back at what we were paying in the 80s. 30 years of inflation adds up. Yeah, there is a lot of truth to that. Three dollar corn and eight dollar beans ain't what they were back in '83. The question remains though, what are we going to do about it. Just give them a pass, accepting that their pricing is in line because of inflation? Have you ever heard of deflation? Hard to believe in this ag economy, but there obviously are still too many dollars chasing too few goods. Maybe that's finally about to change.
