Athens, Illinois | + 1 I will add that last year when calculating yields by kernel counts, most fields were estimated around 200. Harvest comes around and yields were in the 250 range. The long grain fill period added the bushels. It doesn't look that going to happen this year, but your right the higher kernel counts this year could make up for it. Now if we could get 60+ days for grain fill, we could have a new record around here. | |
