Elizabethtown,KY | We had our land line turned off over 10 years ago when we finally got wireless internet, we had been paying $46/month to have telemarketers call us, so good riddance. If people don't have my cell number they know someone who does so they can get it.
I haven't missed the land line at all, if I could have gotten rid of dial up internet I'd have dropped the land line sooner.
As far as 911, I've called it for my mom and wife from my smart phone with the location turned off and they found us with no trouble. | |
