Virginia | We went to Walmart and bought a Straight Talk cell based home phone replace box. $15 per month with all the bells and whistles included. Used our land line number. It took about a week to get the number released. Verizon has the same thing for $20.
We have gone to cell based alarm systems at two locations because of the land line cost. One line was $60 per month, it was considered a business phone. The alarm with the calling service and text notification is cheaper than the land line alone. | |
