I wish you well. I read about the 5000 cow dairy operations out west and wondered how any local dairy could compete with that. must take unlimited labor, as I remember the work we did in the 50's and 60's with 10 cows. My dad always money with them and milk price was better then than today. I will look up a ticket and see what it was. I know eggs were $.50 a dozen picked up.

I hear some local guys expanding with their organic operation. They sell to Minnesota buyers for a big premium.

I don't know the answer, but high corn price can't be the problem.
