Fruita CO | My 1984 F600 service truck originally came from some California government agency. It has a sticker under the hood saying "Natural gas powered vehicle", but there's no trace of any NG equipment left. It only has a 16 gal. gas tank, so I suspect that was for backup. The right side front compartment on the service bed is like a big locker, so I suspect that was where the NG tank was.
I had it parked in a shop once where the light was coming in the door just right & I could see lettering painted over on the door, it said California something...I have never been able to see it since.
