western iowa,by Denison | yes we have been down that road-we have certain things we do -and I think I have posted before on trouble I have with those shots that end up killing calves-one being the shots that seem to make them run a fever-over the years we have learned to always use the mildest beginning shots-and I'm really partial to internasel being some of the better stuff-without a doubt it reverts back in this case to the shots 1 day before the cowman hauled them to the salebarn-some hotter shots on top of it -hauled straight from the vet to sale barn and sold next day-they also used a hot pasturelia shot and that was where the injection site had problems-usually I never give that until I know the cattle are healthy and eating well

I guess the only thing that really bothers myself is the vet and cow calf guy know what happened and events as they happened-as I shared those reports etc with them-hoping it wouldn't happen to someone else- When did doing the right thing become wrong
