WCIN
Most, if not all, of the combine running just south of Crawfordsville are my seed customers. The lowest that I know is 45 bu/ac on a field that was absolutely ate up with waterhemp on marginal ground. Most fields are in the low to mid 60s. I know of two fields that were 70 and 72. They were both 40 ac fields that are actually in Putnam county. But all of these beans are 2.4 Pioneer, 2.5 Asgrows, or a 2.7 Pioneer, all of which planted between the 18-21 of April. Unless Irma swings through, May beans will be a very different story. And in this area I would say there was 33% planted in April and a good amount of those were replanted. There will be very few beans in southern Montgomery county cut next week. Most are running out of mature beans. There are normally 70+ bu beans around but they are not the norm. So far beans have been APH avg I'd say.
