All year the market wants proof. Prices may not rise until mid to late winter on the possible short crop. They got burned last year on predictions of a dried up crop that didn't happen so they are a little gun shy this year. If the crop is quite a bit short there will be a pretty big knee jerk reaction to get supply and demand balanced out again if needed.
