Well thanks hope it helps at times.
I've been deflated by way dec/march spread has come in. During the initial tanking it stayed strong but in last couple weeks it has fallen apart.
This to me has already become a 2018 market in that u18 is trading about 45 cents over where sept 17 was trading this past May. One of these days people will start to talk about the excessive dryness over most of the hrsw belt and the fact with zsx18 990ish today guys will probably be heavy on beans again in this state. Especially after the emotional beating wheat has given them this year.
We raised a crop this year but if the overall pattern doesn't change there will be significant premium added to the market. One of these days we'll get more than 3 weeks to sell wheat but for now that looks to be the continued mantra.
