So true. We have invested heavily in tile the last ten years. At the expense of not putting on much dry fert. You cant grow a good crop in wet soil regardless of fertility. Had to rob peter to pay paul. Now, we can handle the rain and are adding fertility.
That being said, the well drained land looks good, the other 10% not so good. 5% is a zero. The other 5% 1/2 crop. Corn is made but disease is now a concern. Southern rust here.
