Here in our part of Nebraska, it seems that the last half of June and most of July and August, we hope for an occasional shower to get .20-.40" at a time and are probably at a small % of normal for most months. Just hope that we catch a few of those small showers so when the 1 or 2 summer rain events happen, the crop is in good
enough condition to benefit from the 'real rain'. Sometimes the real rain might happen early in your mapping period, then it would show good for the month, even though it all came on 1 day.
