Subject: RE: The best use of NAT for marketing is...

Eastern South Dakota
I farm in NW Hamlin County SD. 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 were all very good years for me. Then came 2016 and that was the best ever by 20 bushels over anything previous. Not just the corn but 20 better for the wheat and soybeans too. 2017 looks to be a great wheat crop again and the corn looks very good right now (Beans Suck) and could be like last years here if and only if it rains soon. Given all that, the prices for commodities have been great and horrible all through that time frame and will head north or south from here for any number of reasons that none of us can see right now regardless what kind of crop each one of us may grow. The best use for new ag talk marketing threads are for opinions. No one knows what the price might do but everyone has an opinion and advise to give that most won't take themselves. The funds control the grain prices but they also loose more money than they make cause their playing with some one elses dollars.
