I've noticed that too. What I wonder (and this could be figured out with some studying) is what the Dakota's and nebraska yielded in the years where we had 170+ national average. Me thinks it was pretty good. Same for Indiana and Ohio?
Even though iowa and Illinois could still have nice corn, how does it all average out?
