We will never know but please do not make three deaths a martyrdom for the gun lobby. Something was definitely wrong with these people but they learned that behavior somewhere somehow in front of many. Have no answers but do not glorify this. This event absolutely solidifies the reason a homeowner needs to arm themselves with overwhelming force, and know how to use it proficiently. After reading about the woman involved, it was indicated she knew the Son. Therefor, it is likely she knew he had the AR. And likely that's what the robbers were really after. Had they gotten the rifle, it's also likely they would have been carrying it on their next break in. I am more than satisfied with the outcome, and hope it further raises awareness for the need to arm yourself. Totally different world we live in today. |
