KS and NE in eastern 3rd | There is probably a big difference in elevation between the field and the bottom of the ditch. They are trying to prevent erosion creeping from the ditch back into the field. We do this a lot on gradient terraces that are dropping into and existing ditch or creek. I'm not sure why there is such a tall riser on yours but we just drop like 12" single wall from the end of the terrace to the ditch. | |
