E. Kansas | Why would in between two terraces along the ditch have a burm like showed in the picture? The one terrace drains through the pipe into the ditch(which can't handle a big rain), the other has washed through the burm. The rest of the terraces drain into the ditch area. The county wants to clean out all of the trees in the ditch after the fire and then redo the ditch. Should I leave things the way they are or make some changes while I have the fence out? I didn't grow up with terraces so I thought I would ask the experts!
