That terrace is probably way too short to hold any rain. Some terraces here are ten feet tall, and if you get a really big 7" rain like last spring, the terrace gets almost totally full of water. Also, your PVC pipe looks goofy and not enough holes to drain fast. I like the precision brand riser pipes.
