Subject: RE: taking CoQ10 when on a statin ?

Greene County, Illinois

I think I remember reading somewhere that, over in Europe, when a doctor prescribes statins, he also prescribes ubiquinol for heart health.

Both forms of CoQ10 exist naturally in the blood, but our bodies must convert conventional CoQ10 into Ubiquinol CoQ10 before it can be used to create cellular energy.

This conversion into Ubiquinol – similar to pushing a ball up a hill – is harder with age and increased metabolic stress.8 9

Ubiquinol CoQ10 is better absorbed than conventional CoQ10 and helps maintain a healthy balance of Coenzyme Q10 in the body.10 11
