Subject: RE: taking CoQ10 when on a statin ?

NW Washington
I have been taking CoQ10 for a long time. Years ago I had leg pains when the doc upped my dose of statins so he lowered the dose. In the mean time I read that some doc said if you are taking statins you should be taking CoQ10 so I started taking them. And I have had no more pains, at least that are attributable to statins. Neither my GP or Cardiologist have said anything pro or con.
I get mine at Costco, but most drug stores have them on hand.

Check here for what WebMD has to say about CoQ10. http://www.webmd.com/diet/supplement-guide-coenzymeq10-coq10#1
