My folks bought a new set of World Book and the Child Craft edition in 1968.   As I recall it was around $350, not sure if it included the stand or not.   We kids used them constantly until my sister graduated in 1982.    They are sitting here about 5 feet from right now.    Might get used once a year at the most.   Don't have the heart to get rid of them.
