One in my shop office has been OK, it doesn't like cold weather at all. We seem to always have a cold draft coming thru it when it is not running. It was mainly put in for the A/C part of it and a backup for the floor heat that is in the rest of the shop. Thought it would be nice to be able to bring the office temp up quickly since you can't do that with the floor heat. Put one in our sun room last summer, seemed great on the A/C side. Again it doesn't like cold weather outside, frequently "defrosting" as the dealer calls it. Basically it stops working, throwing a code which they never seem to get here to see. Sometimes it will go thru a long, noisy defrosting and start working again but plenty of times the only way to fix is shut it off for a period of time. I'm not impressed at all, the only good part is when it does work they are very quiet. The thermostat reading changes daily also it seems. Someday's in the sunroom it needs to be 73, the next day it may need to be at 64 to achieve the same reading.
