I would rather have a "good" dealer 20 miles away as apposition to a " bad" dealer 1 mile that's the way it is here. I grew up with IH tractors, CaseIH dealer is 5 miles away. Their inventory sucks. It's always "We'll have it on Tuesday." JD 9 miles away, fair amount better for parts. Though, if you are looking to purchase any equipment it better be something big enough to make it worth their while. Otherwise they hardly get back to you. Unless you buy a lawnmower. The NH/AGCO dealer is 24 miles away. Hardly have to order anything and they have no problem taking your money no matter what size you are.
