Last week I had a vehicle for sale on CL priced at $3,000....When a party came to look at it and drive it,they offered $2900...I said heck yes as we had decided that anything over $2,750 and it was theirs..I always ask more than I will take as I want the buyer to feel good..I've made some great deals both buying and selling on CL....Its my favorite place..

No matter where you advertise an item for sale, the potential buyer most always offers less..I'd think that something was wrong with them if they didn't..I usually offer 10% less but will pay their price if its fair..

Now there, I would have 29- $100 bills in my hand. OR walk.

What if they were asking 3100? How many hundred dollars bills would you have ? And if you really wanted it, you would lose it for $100?
