NESD | I am very thankful that my 2nd and 4th grader both read and write in cursive. They do attend a parochial school. The "new" way of doing math has filtered in somewhat, however the "old" way is taught as well. Have you ever thought about the next generation of teachers when all they know is this "new" crap? Our public schools have taken God, common sense, patriotism, gender identity, personal responsibility, and a sense of right and wrong away from the children. We a creating a generation of feel good, entitled, unrealistic, self centered whimps. Parents are very much to blame as well. | |
