Subsidized crop insurance is important and essential in every area as a safety net for the farmers to be able to take the risk of putting out 500-800 dollars an acre on corn and beans.
I disagree.
There was farming before subsidized crop insurance and would be after it too.
Even now there are farmers that don't use subsidized crop insurance. It is not something I would label as "essential in every area."
