Spincat - 12/8/2016 08:48 Along those lines, we have a Yamaha sound bar with spring clips on the back. Our TV has the regular audio output plugs. Is there a cable available that will accommodate both ends? I'm not finding one. thanks --

The newer soundbars and TVs are made to be connected using and optical cable as it is considered a very high quality signal very similar to fibre optic data transmission.  If I were to get a new soundbar I'd take a strong look at a Sonos Playbar.  Kind of expensive but Sonos products sound unbelievable and when integrating it into a home with other Sonos products it makes sense.  If its totally stand alone I'd look at a Vizio or Samsung.
