OK, I am going to do some research, but, I thought I would check to see who has already figured this out.  I have a TV that suffers from poor speakers and sound quality.  Does a sound bar exist that plugs directly into the TV?  My quick looking seems to show that the sound bar plugs into a receiver/amplifier.
