It seems ridiculous that in this day and age that we still use this small money... what can you buy for a penny? Nickel? Dime? Even a quarter? I would rather everybody just round up everything to the nearest dollar and be done with it... I use credit card mostly but when I do use cash I find that little change annoying.. Might not be able to buy anything for a penny, nickel or dime but I just rolled 76 dollars worth of coins, (through a coin sorter). They will be deposited in my checking account and that is about 6 to 8 months of tossing loose change in a jar. Also had about 6 dollars worth of pennies but didn't have any wrappers for them. I'll pick some up at Wally World. I also ge a couple rolls of dollars about once a month just to have fun with those that don't know what they are and those that don't like to get them. |
