Wasn't  Doudlah the first to use drilling soy into standing rye in opposite directions, 10yrs ago?

Seems to me that about 10 yrs ago a fellow from WI, running about 2000 acres of soy, was drilling soybeans into standing rye, and letting the drill's disks do the crimping of the rye?

Memory says he was having about 70+% success........which was phenomenal at that time.
