I agree with your sample advice. I was thinking yesterday it's probably a waste of time to sample at the 6" depth. Think I will move to 12 or so and see what it looks like.
Yea I like to do 0-10. 10-24 and 24-36 for corn. I'm not a big fan of 6" samples ever, but seems that where the big company's are going.
