Holly Grove Arkansas | I've been doing this a long time. I farmed through the 80's. Down here on the fringe there seems to be a farm crisis of sorts every few years that keeps the auction companies busy. All the times I've been through, good and bad, I've never seen a time when farms get smaller. Just the opposite. Every down spell I've seen the smallest farms size disappears. Some of them go bust some of them take over the land of the ones that go bust and cease to be smal farmers but inevitably the smallest size is gone. | |
