OP says he has the bin run wheat. I have no idea what rye is bringing, but at under $3 cash wheat here, moneywise, run what ya brung.

I did just that this year after beans on beans on a chunk of land. Just used a fertilizer spreader buggy and used a Phillips harrow after. Going to corn in 17. Well maybe.

Spread about 240bu on 103 acres.


I just no-tilled about 2.5 bu. acre combine run wheat on bean ground this week for a farmer for cover crop. We'll see how it does. Generally use cereal rye myself.
