The Cargill we work with in our area has used that discount schedule for at least 5 years; and I believe longer than that. Most buyers in our area are going to a discount for moisture instead of shrink+ drying. Everyone's formula is a little different, so you really just need to run the numbers and decide what's best for you. Bottom line, it's just another factor in the bid.
