Subject: RE: Law of Average's

North East Kansas
Farmers being quiet about yields doesn't equal good to great. Farmers have an ego just like everyone else and will tell you when they are happy with yields. Our seed rep told me that no one is letting him ride in combines this year and won't speak of yields. I am very embarrassed of our yields for sure. We were expecting much bigger, but some of our irrigated fields have hit their lowest yields since we have farmed them. The corn on corn yields are embarrassing. I knew this stuff happened when I chose farming and money isn't the answer to what makes me happy so thankfully it will only hurt so bad, but our incomes aren't good this year and our equity is tanking badly.

I hope everyone does great this year and is looking at better results than I have seen in our area. Sometimes life is rough but we don't grow spiritually in good times. Bad times can be a great blessing even though it is very difficult to see at the time.
