These folks are hard workers no doubt. i worked with fellow high school kids growing up hand picking everything from sweet corn to cantaloupe to potatoes to string beans. Very few white folks will do that, as you said. We're so spoiled here in America, it's crazy. I was a navy Seabee and served two deployments in Kuwait and two in Afghanistan. It'll make you both appreciate what we have here but frustrate you at how much we take it for granted. Lemme get off my soap box here and wash this hopper bottom.....
