east central iowa | I think your close as far as moisture goes but 98 here was 4 degrees below nomal temp for june and 16 was 2.4 above avg don't know what it will mean but June was not even close to the same here anyways. I think 98 had the rain spread out over June more instead of nothing then areas getting some. Not saying your wrong just the difference I see here. If it is like 98 august might be getting a little wet for the areas receiving lots of rain possibly? Also may was 3 degree above avg in 98 and it was .5 cooler than avg this year. Maybe your area was closer but here it doesn't look very close on temps. Have to see how July figures in a week
