West central IL | I'm getting a little bullish. We were crazy dry in June but have had great rains in July. 2.5", 2", and a couple smaller rains. The ears I'm finding are nothing like our big years in 13 and 14.
It's been warmer than average and that doesn't scream record yields. But there's LOTS of acres. Personally I'd like to see corn go test those lows because I'm done selling for a while anyway. Go ahead and build demand. But wouldn't surprise me if there's somewhat disappointing yields out there compared to the very high G/E rating. | |
