North of London | I think what you describe is 'people' always was that way and always will be.
Yes I loan equipment and sometimes I never get 'repaid' but most treat me the way I treat them and you soon learn the ones you do not loan anything of value to.
To show how it was always the same my father loaned his JD 'B' with scuffler attached to a neighbour to help him out.
Neighbour brought it back and parked it in the shed.
Father could not get it to start and finally discovered it was right out of gas.
Neighbour must have coasted in to the shed.
So things have always been that way. | |
