Subject: RE: Front mount row cultivator

southern MN
I bought an old 15 inch 15 row IHC 295 bean planter years ago, it has skip rows. Kinda wore out now so I've ended up planting 30 inch beans again.

Anyhow there also was a converted rear row cultivator that fit the planter rows. This was all about the time rup just started, so no one was interested in the cultivator, I bought it for fun for scrap price.

Used the cultivator 2 years.

It was amazingly easy to cultivate the 15 inch beans with that rear mount. Easier than using a rear mount 30 inch cultivator. Rarely saw any damage to to the rows.

Trouble would be trash these days, we seem to be leaving much more cornstalk on the surface than we did in the 90s.
