Hilmar, California
I didnt make this switch just because of a 1% increase on the singulation. I already stated why I made the switch. In my part of the country not every tom dick and Harry that has 500 acres has their own planter. Hell I'll go up to 750! These guys are dairymen not midwest boys. Therefore if this planter is planting perfect at 5.5 what's it going to do at 6.5-7 in all conventional ground/sand?? If I can pick up a mph or two without anyone saying a word about stand to pick up the 3,4,500 acres I leave on the table to some other joe every year then that's half my roi on just that aspect alone. Ive had a perfect planting 1200 2005 pt and I always smacked talked all these pp guys. But this 1250 has never done a good job. Never. I used to be a hater on the pp stuff, till I got it. Looking into a perfectly planted field is a beautiful sight, I haven't had that sight in 4 years. It's there now and better than ever.
