SW MN - mt. lake/windom | Do you have any lagoons or earthen basins for manure storage on site? If yes look modern style barn draining into current manure storage structure. Do you have any neighbors with smaller older barns hog barns with manure storage? look into renting there facilities. I believe your biggest labor challenge is efficiently handling manure and or bedding. As other have stated, you can set up a hoop or natural style barn to handle movement of pigs but needs to be done so its efficient at handling bedding. | |
