Our first year we planted 340 acres with a 6 row JD 7000 and 6200 JD tractor. You can do it but with my brother and I having full time off farm jobs....it took quite awhile to get finished up planting. We have one 80 acre field with 1/2 mile long rows....6 rows at a time....refill every 3 rounds. That makes for a looooong day. Have since gone to a 12R30 JD 7200.
