Until three years ago I was planting 3,200 with a 12 row 38".
Now running 2-12 rows on 4,400 and 2,300 of that is double planted in twin rows.
We have a little longer planting window though than the Midwest.


There are farmers around here with those acres with two 24r 22 planters with a 42' 1890 air drill for beans.
