Republic OH (NC OH) | the setup I have is a cable that comes from the
wireless receiver to a black box, which has "switching
power supply" written on it. tech support has called it
a radio too. from that box it goes to the router. it
is plugged into a port labeled internet. then I have
a cable running from the router through an Ethernet
port to my computer. if this makes sense I believe I
am protected from outside sources. I have windows
defender running and I use Malwarebytes for my security.
I also have it password protected so no one else can access
my internet with me knowing it.
based on your responses, I will not be concerned about
this any more.
