Republic OH (NC OH) | had to get a router, long story for another day.
I only have a desk top. no wireless devices. I have
wireless broadband for my internet.
if I understand right, as long as my computer is on, I am
connected to the internet, even with my browser or
email programs closed. when I power down at night
one light on the router goes out. my main concern is/are,
am I more vulnerable to being hacked by being connected
all day long? am I over concerned? I am using windows
defender. should I turn off my router when I am not
using the internet?
