I'm in the same marketing category, pretty basic.  I have learned a lot reading this forum.  I did my first HTA contract this year and it worked well for me.  It was more or a trial than a well thought out strategy but April 1 I will be hauling in $4+ cash corn so that will be nice, wish I had sold more.  I will likely use this tool going forward.  There was a small fee for this service and you are limited to contracting in 5000bu increments if that matters.  I never rolled my contract and I'm not sure I understand the benefit to doing so at this point.  Maybe someone can give us an example of a scenario where a person would want to roll?
